Before I got engaged I used to walk past Sally's bridal shop and always admire the gorgeous dresses displayed in the window. I especially loved the Jenny Packham dresses which were covered in the most stunning beading. Anyone that knows me, knows I LOVE beads and sequins. I just knew I would end up wearing a Jenny Packham dress on my wedding day.
I booked an appointment to try on some dresses with Sally but didn't find the one. I then went to another bridal shop and the experience was completely different compared to Sally's. It felt rushed, the lady didn't even ask me what my likes and dislikes were and I felt limited to what I was allowed to try on. I left very unsatisfied and panicky as they told me I didn't have much time to get the dress when in reality, they were just trying to get a sale.
A week later Sally messaged me to say she had just got in a dress by Jenny Packham called 'Esme' and immediately thought of me saying, I think you will love it. She was so right, I fell in love with it before I even tried it on and just knew it was the ONE!! Sally really took the time to get to know me and understand my likes and dislikes. She knew I wanted something different that was heavily beaded and timeless that had a vintage whimsical feel which would fit in with our wedding theme. I can't stress how different the service was at Sally's bridal boutique compared with others.
I also bought my bracelet, shoes and my bridesmaid dresses from Sally's and she taught all the girls how to wear the dresses in different ways. The appointments with Sally never felt rushed and she always made me feel special, like I was the only bride she had. I know my bridesmaids felt the same about how professional and lovely Sally was. If she had any ideas that she thought I would like she would message me and if I needed her she would always be there to help me. Nothing was too much trouble and I would recommend her to anyone who wants to find their dream dress with complete professionalism from start to finish.
The weather was gorgeous on the day which made the beads on my dress glitter in the sun light and with Owen Howells as my photographer the dress was captured in all it's glory. I really couldn't of asked for more.
